Having grown up in a household where my mother ran an interior design business (named Ambiance), I developed a deep appreciation for decorating from an early age. I find joy in how a cohesive color scheme, a blend of textures, or a striking focal piece can completely transform a room. I've seamlessly adapted to diverse living environments—from an apartment in New York City, to a townhome in Chicago, to a house in Richmond—infusing each space with my distinctive style and creativity.I earned a dual major in Graphic Arts and Communication from Penn State University. Following graduation, I embarked on a career as a graphic designer for prominent magazines in New York City, including Rolling Stone and Forbes. After relocating to Chicago, I established my own graphic design firm, serving a diverse clientele that spans over 400 publications, from Sports Illustrated to TIME to National Geographic to Architectural Digest. Working with such varied titles has taught me to adapt to different styles and audiences on a daily basis.My passion for design extends beyond graphic arts into interior design, which I've pursued with enthusiasm. During this visit, we will explore the areas you wish to transform, understand your personal style, and observe how these spaces are utilized daily. A LA CARTE
You have the flexibility to engage my services on an hourly basis, with the option to extend to half-day or full-day consultations. During this time, we can work together in your space, exploring various options and discussing ideas. Alternatively, we can venture outside your home to visit showrooms and assist in selecting items for purchase.
VISUALIZATION
I create mood boards for the selected spaces and guide you on where to purchase the items showcased. This approach allows you to proceed at your own pace, according to your time and budget constraints.
